Kindergarden Registration

Today was the day I had to register my first baby for kindergarden. I know, I know, its not like its the first day of school or something. But still, there is something sort of sad about the whole thing. And then I hear all those people who have told me "cherish the toddler years while you have them, they go fast". I thought it would be great when they were old enough to eat, drink, talk and go potty independently. But now I know what those other moms were saying...its just gone in a blink! How can she already be old enough? No more naptimes, afternoons at the park, swimming in the mornings or library trips...all the things we loved doing. Guess I'll still have the weekends though. I told her I was going to miss her, and she said, "its ok mom, you'll still see me. I'm ready to go!" You can see from the picture below, she is excited about it. I, on the other hand am still a little sad...but I am happy for her too.
