Armand Turns 42!

Happy Birthday to a wonderful father, husband, brother, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law & friend. We are so blessed to have you in our lives! You have 3 girls who love you unconditionally, & two little girls who look up to you so much. I am so proud of the example you set as a father. Our girls know that you are a good man, and they rely on you for guidance, security & love. All these qualities you have are hard to find, and the friend you've been to me is better than any I've known before. You are the rock in our family, and for that, I will be forever thankful. Happy Birthday to one of the best men I know, I love you! P.S. I did let the girls lick the bowl and the spoons after we frosted the cake....

We got to watch our friend, Abigail this past weekend for a few hours. The weather was actually somewhat warm, so we spent the morning outside. We went for a long walk, ran in the field, played on the swing set, looked at the clouds, drove the Barbie Jeep & climbed trees....all the fun things that we adults miss doing from our own childhoods. Its great to see kids so happy just doing simple things! They enjoyed the fresh air & always enjoy their time with Abigail!

My Mom Turns 60!

Hard to believe, but my mom turned 60 this past week! She had 2 surprise parties, and one little impromptu party with the girls. The first surprise party in Cody was at Cassie's, and we had great food & great company! Her friends are all wonderful, interesting people, lots of good conversation! My kids loved their little private birthday celebration with Grandma too...great memories! Happy Birthday Mom, and here's to many more to come! We love you!

Tennis!

Riley was so excited to do her first tennnis class today! Ms. Laurie was teaching, and both the girls love Ms. Laurie. She even let Sydney join in the fun, even though she hadn't officially signed up for the class. They had a great time, and can't wait to go again!

Trip to Billings!

THE REEF! Indoor water park. Hours of entertainment. Kids equivalent of heaven on earth. What more is there to say?

Still too short for the BIG indoor slides, but that's ok. Plenty of entertainment to be had in the other parts of the indoor water area. Sydney thinks it was no big deal, she still loves the little kid slides...Riley didn't seem to mind either!

A time to unwind...

We ate TONS of food, too much food. Painted our toenails (yes, in the hotel room thankfully NOT in my house) and used polish stickers to finish off the look. Then, when the day was done, relaxed in the hotel room, watching movies and crashing on dad. Great times!

Billings!

I sometimes wonder if adults remember what it was like to be a child. Then, I go swimming w/ Armand and the kids. Armand is a BIG fan of cannon balls, the kind that make waves in the pool and irritate lifeguards. Then I realize, when given the opportunity, we all have a little kid inside of us at times....

Antler Hunting, Part II

This time, Sydney joined her sister & dad in the trek to find antlers....and they didn't come back empty handed. I like to compare it to an Easter Egg hunt, and its great b/c the kids get to spend quality time w/ their dad, doing something he loves. I think its a new hobby they all three have a passion for! Works for me...they have a great time, and I get some time alone to catch up on other things, like cleaning! Plus, they sleep like logs at night, after the fresh air and all the hiking they do!
