This weekend was so much fun...no one wanted to head back home. As you can see, Syd was down for the count the minute we started the trek back to Cody. Riley, on the otherhand, was still fighting the trip back....oh well, another trip sometime soon??
If you ever have to stay in Billings, we would recommend the Wingate Hotel...they have a HUGE indoor water park, and Rib & Chop House right across the parking lot. The kids played for HOURS in the water park. Even Dad had a blast going down the two big slides. Sydney loved the kids slides & both girls couldn't get enough of the pool. And, its a great way to wear off some of the energy the kids have...they both slept EXCELLENT the two nights we were there! Fun Stuff!!
The Montana Fair was fun this weekend, but I really do think the girls liked swimming at the Hotel better. Guess if you've been to one fair, you've been to them all. The rides were still fun to go on w/ Mom & Dad though, they tell me. They just wished they were tall enough to go on the big kid rides....
My friend Kim got married this weekend. It was at a beautiful spot up the N.Fork, Mooncrest Lodge. I got a few pics, not as many as I would've liked, but here are a couple of them. The ceremony was supposed to start at 4 pm, but we got a MAJOR rain storm right about that time, so we were delayed. However, it was worth the wait, b/c when the weather eventually decided to cooperate, it was perfect! And it smelled so good outside in the mtns after the rain! Congrats Kim & John!!
It was pushing 90 degrees today & what a better way to spend the day than at the pool with Mackie, Chase & Davette. The girls played for HOURS!! Of course, now they are both exhausted, so maybe it will be a successful early bedtime tonight. We feel the summer slowly slipping away, so we had to take advantage of the KOA and its pool, playground and huge bouncing pillow!
What is summer without a trip to the fair? We had so much fun with our friends Molly, Maylee & Max this past Saturday. It was sooooo hot, we were greatful for some raindrops later in the afternoon. The girls got to see all the fair animals, go on rides and even had snow cones (which by the way they didn't like, what's up with that?) They were in heaven on all the rides! We're going to the Montana State Fair in two weeks, and they can hardly wait!
