Miss Him!

I was browsing through my old pictures the other night, and trying to clean up my saved photos. I came across this picture, and it brought tears to my eyes. This is the true meaning of "old friends are gold". This is my father-in-law's childhood friend, Buzzy, his wife, Loretta and then my mother-in-law and Riley. Buzzy & Loretta were a huge part of Big Armand's life, and he always spoke so highly of them both. There were so many funny stories he shared involving Buzzy...it makes me sad to think I won't get to hear the tales anymore, but glad b/c I got to witness first-hand, the true meaning of lifelong friendship. We miss you Mr. Big!

Egg Hunting, then Lunch With Family

So much fun to look for the Easter eggs that Easter Bunny hid. Sydney didn't quite get the hang of it, but some of that was because her older sister found ALL but one egg before Sydney even had a chance to look. After we egg hunted we went to Grandma Marlene's for lunch. The food was delicious, and the kids loved seeing their cousin Emma. Emma is getting so big, and is starting to take some steps. How exciting!

Brunch With The Easter Bunny

Riley was really afraid of the Easter Bunny. Sydney, on the otherhand, was just in LOVE with him. She walked right up to him and sat on his lap. Both girls had fun dying their Easter eggs...

Snow Day!

We finally had some nice weather, after we got about 4 feet of snow! So the girls were outside playing for the first time all weekend. They loved the snow, and the warm sun so they weren't cold!

So we stayed at Mandalay Bay, which was a really great place. But when we first got there, Armand was starving...and there is a little snack bar in the room. He immediately grabbed a VERY small pack of pringles and DEVOURED them...then I read the room brochure. Guess how much that pack of pringles cost us Arm? $5.00!! He thought he was so smart when he found an identical replacement for $1.50 in a convenience store. I guess the snacks are all weighted, and on sensors, so if they are picked up, then the room is charged. Funny! (Hence the picture of Armand with his replacement pringles!) I can't give him too much grief though, b/c the next day, I got into the refrigerator and drank a $5.50 bottle of water....

ZUMANITY

We went to the Cirque du Soleil show ZUMANITY at the NY NY hotel. This show is the "sensual side" of Cirque....Armand was in awe I think...there are some parts in the show that just weren't his style. For example, the show host is a drag queen. She does have FABULOUS legs though. Anyway, it was an experience, and an interesting one. We had fun that night! Some of the characters in the show are in the lobby when you get there, ready to pose with you for pictures...so here are a few of our shots!

These are just some random pictures from the weekend. There are so many good memories from the weekend. To name a few:

In and Out Burger...Can you say "Double Double"?
Freelance Cab Caller in Old Vegas
Forgetting my camera and having to call security b/c my room key wouldn't work
Randomly running into two people from Cody at the pool
Awesome dinner at Gallagher's after Zumanity
Where was that cab driver from? Siberia? Couldn't understand him!
Riviera Comedy Club
MRSA...Arnold still is grossed out I think
Eyecandy
Coyote Ugly
Cafe in the early hours of the morning
And the list goes on....

Hopefully Armand has really fun memories of turning 40!
