Happy Easter!

What a beautiful Easter morning it was this year! Sunshine, and it was actually WARM! The girls had a great time hunting for the eggs that E.B. hid. Syd had so much fun, that she actually had to take a nap for the first time in months! Happy Days!

 

 

 

 

Uncle Armand & Ava

Apparently, Armand hasn't lost his touch...I think he secretly misses the baby days, if only for a few fleeting moments. So this little arrangement worked out perfect for baby Ava & Uncle Armand. Ava wanted to be held, Uncle Armand needed a baby fix. Its a win/win situation, and both end up happy, having their needs met!

More Easter Pictures

Time with cousins is extra fun, especially when there is food and presents involved! Great dinner Aunt Lauren, and Syd still thinks that the bunny cake was the best part!Thanks for all the great food, I think I ate WAY too much! We had a great time!

Kindergarden Registration

Today was the day I had to register my first baby for kindergarden. I know, I know, its not like its the first day of school or something. But still, there is something sort of sad about the whole thing. And then I hear all those people who have told me "cherish the toddler years while you have them, they go fast". I thought it would be great when they were old enough to eat, drink, talk and go potty independently. But now I know what those other moms were saying...its just gone in a blink! How can she already be old enough? No more naptimes, afternoons at the park, swimming in the mornings or library trips...all the things we loved doing. Guess I'll still have the weekends though. I told her I was going to miss her, and she said, "its ok mom, you'll still see me. I'm ready to go!" You can see from the picture below, she is excited about it. I, on the other hand am still a little sad...but I am happy for her too.

Family Time!

We had the joy of spending yesterday evening with my side of the family. My brother and Lauren & the kids had us over for dinner...and my mom & dad were there too! Nothing like getting to spend some quality time with everyone at once. Ava is the cutest baby, so adorable & she is smiling! A smile from a baby is like nothing else in the world, its wonderful! My mom took these pictures, so again, I'm stealing her photography...thanks mom! Thanks for dinner John & Lauren!
