Race Bikes...

So funny! KOA has these recumbant bikes...the boys got on them and started racing...wish I had video of it! I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time. They were really hard to steer- you had to manuever them by moving your body side to side. Dakota & Hagen made up a race track-and that was even more amusing. They would get going so fast & it would be hard to turn. Talk about free entertainment~ and darn good entertainment~! Poor Hagen wrecked though, and cut his leg! They were on them for over an hour before a little girl turned them in for riding without paying...then it was game over...

 

 

Fun With Cousins!

Aunt Andrea, Dakota & Hagen were here for a quick visit, and we had a great time seeing them. The girls were very shy "because they are our boy cousins" but that didn't last long. The shyness was quickly forgotten though!

 

 

 

 

The Wheels On The Bus....

During two weeks in June, the school district does a Kindergarten Readiness Camp for the incoming kindergartners. Riley has been so set on riding the bus to school...I finally had to let her do it. It picked her up at 7 am, and let me tell you, she was MORE than ready. Me, however, not so much...it is hard to know when they are ready for you to give them some independence. I don't think its as hard for them as it is for us! Still can't quite believe she is not a baby or a toddler anymore & it was very surreal to watch my first baby board a bus...

 

 

Jen's Bridal Shower

Our friend & coworker Jen, is getting married at the end of this month. We had a great time enjoying her company & helping her celebrate her upcoming wedding. She is a great lady! We shared many great stories & laughs! I had never had coconut cream pie before tonight...and because it is Jen's favorite dessert, we had it...and I have to say, it was SO GOOD! All the best to you in your marriage Jen, you deserve it!

 

 

 

 

 

Riley Loves T-Ball!

She loves it, loves it, loves it! She also loves that her dad is always there to help "coach" & her other family members come watch her play....its fun to watch these little people learn the sport!

 

 

 

 

Masters' Program....

Riley had her SECOND preschool graduation last night. She also graduated last year. Because of her birthday being in October, she did 3 years of preschool. So, we affectionately refer to the first graduation as her "bachelor's degree" and this one as her "Masters". Now she is fully prepared to enter into kindergarten....here are a couple pictures of her class and then of her three of her little friends at school. Its finally summer!!

 

 

 

"Do Your Thing"

At least, I think that was the name of the song...it was one I haven't heard before. Riley is such a fun girl to watch do anything! She is super coordinated (which she didn't get from me). She did tap and ballet this year, and had a blast with it. She loved having some of her preschool friends in dance with her too, nothing like dancing with your best friends. The only problem with her is that she struggles to decide which thing to participate in. She loves t-ball, and that starts when dance ends. She always wants to "skip dance" to go to t-ball....too many choices, not enough time! She makes us so proud!
